Dr. Luber grew up only two hours north of Oxford in Caruthersville, Missouri. He is an honors graduate of Ole Miss and attended the University of Missouri Medical School. He then completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Luber was selected for an AO International Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship in York, England. Following this, he finished an accredited fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center and the Tulane Institute for Sports Medicine.

During Dr. Luber's 6 years of training, he trained in all major aspects of orthopaedic surgery. His experience included sports medicine and arthroscopic reconstruction, joint replacement, spine surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery, pediatric orthopaedics, trauma and musculoskeletal tumors. He obtained extensive experience in sports medicine while working with the athletes of the New Orleans Saints, Ole Miss, Tulane, Jackson State, Alcorn State, Mississippi Valley State, Millsaps, and Belhaven Universities.

Dr. Luber currently serves as an Associate Master Instructor at the Orthopedic Learning Center in Chicago, IL and has a special interest in sports injuries and arthroscopic reconstruction. He has published numerous articles and chapters in the field of Orthopaedics in addition to presenting at national and international meetings.

Dr. Luber was selected by his colleagues as a member of the American Orthopedic Association Emerging Leaders Program. He is Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Mississippi Orthopaedic Society. He serves on the medical staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi and is a board member of the North Mississippi Physicians Association and BMH-NM Trauma Committee.

Dr. Luber and his wife live in Oxford with their three children.
